Yo Soy Media Campaign Background

The Yo Soy media campaign is an effort to showcase the diversity and richness of Latinx Culture. The campaign seeks to demonstrate that we, LPA, value our diversity and we enjoy learning about our members’ cultures and identities. Our vision is to cultivate a community that empowers Latinx Professionals to pursue success. Nothing empowers us more than feeling appreciated and being embraced by our community.

A “Yo Soy” statement demonstrates the many dimensions that we have as individuals. We want to encourage our members to share their individuality which contributes to our collective wealth of human talent. The diversity within our community is our greatest strength.

Example of “Yo Soy” statement:

“ Yo soy an adventurous, multicultural, bilingual, dynamic leader, Ecuadorian immigrant, first generation college graduate, mami, hija, hermana, amiga, espouse, certified public accountant”; “Yo Soy a Latina Professional”
