JOB SUMMARY: CTM is looking for an analytical and strategic-minded individual to create visions and plans for overall fundraising to include corporate, foundation, and individual giving. This position is integral to supporting the achievement of our mission and maximizing our impact in the community.  


PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Create a comprehensive development program, with the goal of assessing CTM’s fundraising potential to create short and long-term plans 

  • Manage a portfolio of donors, strengthening donor relationships to the organization and soliciting appropriate gifts 

  • Support Executive Director and Artistic Director in managing their donor portfolios 

  • Promote and guide best practices and innovative approaches to individual major giving, corporate and foundation grants, planned giving initiatives, annual appeals, and events 

  • Establish and monitor key metrics to make forecasts and evaluate ongoing performance, ensuring CTM will meet and exceed annual fundraising goals 

  • Write and manage department budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and return on investment

  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures for gift processing and donor acknowledgment, database management, and financial reporting 

  • Attend CTM events and activities and foster pride and excitement in fundraising efforts 


SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 

  • 3 years minimum of progressively responsible experience in a comprehensive non-profit fundraising role.   

  • 2 years in a position with staff management responsibilities preferred

  • Prior experience with arts nonprofit is a plus 


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:  This is a full-time, salaried position, $52,000 – $60,000 annually. Benefits include employer-paid medical and dental insurance, retirement saving options, paid holiday, vacation, sick, and personal leave.


TIMELINE / PROCESS:

  • Applications will be reviewed as they come in

  • Interviews will happen between May and June

  • We hope to have the position filled by early July

  • Start date is July 15, 2022
