Come meet our friends over at Forward Madison FC! Our host Jovan Chavez will be there to share everything exciting going on this season as the Flamingos prepare to bring home a championship to Madison this season! We will hear from one of the technical coaches and also from current players! Beverages will be provided so please join us starting at 6pm! 
Jovan Chavez was born in Batavia, IL and is a second generation Mexican American who spent most of his adolescent holidays visiting family in Michoacan Mexico. Jovan came to Madison to study Audio Engineering but quickly found a new career path and joined a startup where his sales and marketing skill set was honed and rewarded. After 10 years he left to pursue new challenges and joined the front office of the new pro soccer team, Forward Madison FC, as their Latino Outreach Manager. One of Jovan's primary goals is to engage with the Latino community in and around Madison to ensure they feel welcome and create new flamingo fans for years to come! In 2021, he joined the inaugural USL Impact Committee which holds a mission to use soccer as a force for good and address areas of social impact to ensure every fan feels welcomed when attending games. For 2022, Jovan is excited to also join the board for the Sessions at Mcpike Park which is a yearly summer music festival which aims to bring eclectic international groups to downtown Madison. When Jovan is not cheering on the Flamingos at Breese Stevens Field, he enjoys camping and traveling the nation's national parks. Make sure you say hi and get him a drink the next time you see me around!

Please enter thru Gate One at the corner of E Washington and Paterson at Breese Stevens Field. You can park on the street or at the Festival Foods lot.
